Mother of Two (and a half), here we come!

There is no turning back now, Baby Girl is on her way and should be here by the end of the week! As excited/nervous as I am, it also makes me a little sad for Titan that his world is going to be completely rocked. I’m far less sad for Millie (my half child/golden retriever) as she has already survived the arrival of one baby, but Titan really has no idea how much his life is going to change.

Finding the Finishes

There is this spot in our house that my husband built to be our new downstairs bathroom. It’s a scary, dark little room that I am afraid to set foot in mostly because it reminds me that it is taking much longer than we anticipated. Also because it hasn’t been wired for lighting yet and I am afraid of the dark empty bathroom hole…

See ginger run

The decision to run a half marathon came from my bucket list: travel to Israel, win a pie eating contest, run a half marathon etc. I read about Revel and how beautiful and fast and, well, downhill the course was and finally decided that it was time.

FOMO and 2 weeks to go!

Two of my favorite fall events are either going on right now or happening this coming weekend – the Utah State Fair and the Park City Balloon Festival, and I am super bummed to say that I will probably miss both of them! I love them so much, but I also have to admit that being 8 1/2 months pregnant is taking it’s toll on my body. DIY Whimsical Baby Mobile

Less than a month from my due date, and I don’t have a nursery even close to being ready for baby girl. In all honesty, I’m not sure if it will even happen until after baby is born. For someone as neurotic as myself, I guess you could say I’m being extremely relaxed about this whole thing… relaxed, or lazy, take your pick…

Indoor Rock Climbing at Momentum

The idea of me rock climbing came about when good looking guys mentioned that they rock climbed. I know I’m a smart cookie but in all seriousness I have wanted to rock climb for some time.

Surviving those Countless Prenatal Appointments with a 2-year-old

When I embarked on this adventure of being pregnant for a second time, I honestly wasn’t sure how my little buddy would handle the many upcoming doctor visits. I also really didn’t want to have to find someone to watch him every time I went in for an appointment. Surprisingly, Titan LOVES going to Mommy’s doctor, and gets excited whenever I tell him we have an appointment. Here are what I believe to be some of the contributing factors…
